With a solid dust collection system, an incredibly rugged and ergonomic body, and a 5-year warranty, the SB8V2 sets the bar extremely high for the competition. A small and simple option, Black and Decker’s extremely affordable random orbit sander — the BDERO100 — is a good option for those that want a solid tool to use on easy sanding tasks. While the body’s made of plastic and can’t take much punishment, it still features a comfortable textured grip and a dust-sealed power switch. It lacks a bit of power and the dust collector is mediocre, but for the jobs it’s made for these aren’t really big issues.
